I am very pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Bill Picard who has performed at the Comedy Connection in Portland, Maine on a regular basis for two years.

I am the Talent Coordinator for the Comedy Connection. With 20+ years in the entertainment field, I have never been so surprised the first time I saw him perform. It is incredible how he turns the audiences around with his style of comedy. To be honest with you, I was very apprehensive the first time I spoke to him but now he is one of the best comedians at the Comedy Connection.

With his unique style of comedy he has the ability to challenge audiences in a variety of ways, but also support their willingness to express themselves in an honest and open manner. Mr. Picard's routines challenge audiences’ preconceptions about disability and individual differences. He makes audience examine their own preconceived notions and bias about College life, relationships, sex and other topics.

I believe Mr. Picard will be a great asset to the Student Activities on any Campus or any comedy club.
