These are some questions that other students have asked me, and the answers that I wrote on my computer.

 

Are you sad because you have CP?

  • No, I've never known life any other way.

 

Where do you live?

  • I live in Lewiston, Maine.

 

Do you play any computer games?

  • Yes. Yes. Yes. Mrs. Pacman is my favorite.

 

Have you ever fallen down?

  • Yes, many times.

 

Have you ever played tag?

  • Yes.

 

Have you ever been in a canoe?

  • Yes, my grandpa made a couple when I was younger, and we used to go on the lake a lot.

 

Is it hard to hold things?

  • Yes.

 

Can you pick up heavy things?

  • No, my helpers would have to do that for me.

 

What does it feel like to be in a wheelchair/walker all the time?

  • I'm used to it, so it doesn't bother me.

 

Do your hands always stay in the same position?

  • No.

 

If you get sick do you need special medicine?

  • No, I take all the same medicine as you would take.

 

Do you ever need to stretch your legs?

  • Yes.

 

What is your favorite animal? School subject? Favorite color?

  • Dog, Maths, Blue

 

Are you sad sometimes?

  • Everybody gets sad sometimes.

 

Do your vocal chords work?

  • Yes.

 

Are your hands paralyzed?

  • No.

 

How do you drive the wheelchair?

  • With a joystick.

 

 

Are you bored?

  • Sometimes I get board, but I'm a pretty busy guy.
