I have been a Motivational Speaker for over ten years but I need the right assistant to help me with things I need to do. I have not done very much with the Inspire For Life foundation because spending all of my time writing for grants is not my idea of what the foundation is for. So, the past two years, I have been changing my focus to stand-up comedy.
With a BS in Business Management I run my own foundation, an apartment house as well as many other things as you can see by my resume. This unique job combine many different things.
First, being a personal assistant for me so I can keep living independently and working. Some of the things I need assistant with driving, eating, etc. I have Cerebral palsy this effects my muscles and speech but this does not get in the way of what I want to do.
Second, with being a Motivational Speaker and a unique stand-up comic, I need a good driver with a current/valid driver's license. As you begin to understand my speech, I will start dictating to you what I want to type on the computer because it goes a lot faster.
Third, assisting me with the daily operation of the foundation. Such as, finding and applying for grants; develop and implement programs; writing and editing documents; email correspondence and office management etc. But as I said before I have been changing my focus to stand-up comedy so right now there is very little foundation work.
Requirements for this job are:
- People skills!
- Flexibility.
- Current/valid driver's license.
- Some computer skills.
- Some writing ability.
