Info on getting me to do a benefit comedy show for
your Project Graduation.
Basic questions:
-
What is the benefit for?
-
Where is the event?
-
Who is putting this event together?
-
How many seats are there?
-
Has everything been approved by the principal and the person who is in
charge of Project Graduation?
Advertising is very important because
everyone will put in a lot of work into it and if only 40 people come
then that will not be good.
Some different ways of advertise the show:
-
Posters or flyers around the school and stores and businesses.
-
Over the loud speaker at school.
-
Placing a notice in school newsletter.
-
Word of mouth.
-
Local newspaper ad or a story in the newspaper.
All advertising must say the rating of the comedy show! Meant for juniors and
seniors or older people.
25% of the ticket sales goes to the comedians but if their is a full
house then it is 15%.
((( Friday January
22nd 2010, the Orion Performing Arts Center will have a unique benefit
comedy show for Project Graduation. Starring student quartettes and
two comedians that perform all over New England! )))
